Which dumpster size do you actually need?

Quick answer

We offer 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40-yard roll-off dumpsters — there is no 25-yard size. Smaller bins suit single rooms and heavy debris, while 30s and 40s suit full renovations and demo. Not sure which fits? Call or text 619-629-4751 and describe the project.

Sizes at a glance

Each size trades footprint for capacity. The two biggest mistakes people make are under-sizing a light-debris job (extra swap fees) and putting heavy material like concrete or dirt into anything but a 10-yard bin.

SizeDimensions (L × W × H)Typical usePickup-truck loads
10 yard14 ft × 8 ft × 2 ftHeavy debris, small cleanouts, single-room jobs~3
15 yard14 ft × 8 ft × 4 ftGarage/attic cleanouts, small remodels~4
20 yard20 ft × 8 ft × 4 ftMid-size remodels, flooring tear-outs~6
30 yard22 ft × 8 ft × 6 ftWhole-home renovations, new construction~9
40 yard22 ft × 8 ft × 8 ftMajor demo, large commercial jobs~12

Every bin is 8 ft wide, so driveway width is rarely the limiting factor — length and overhead clearance usually are.

Why there's no 25-yard dumpster

Some companies advertise a 25-yard size, but it isn't part of our lineup and isn't standard in the roll-off industry generally. Our sizing steps from 20 straight to 30 yards, which covers the gap without adding a bin most customers wouldn't need. If a project seems to fall between the two, we'll help you decide which way to round.

Heavy materials need a dedicated bin

Concrete, dirt, brick, and asphalt are dense enough that a full-size 20, 30, or 40-yard bin loaded with them would exceed legal road weight. That's why heavy material goes in a dedicated 10-yard heavy-debris bin instead, priced by weight rather than volume.

  • 10-yard heavy bin flat rate starts at $699 for 1 ton
  • Low walls make wheelbarrow loading easier
  • Mixed heavy loads (concrete plus trash) may be billed differently — ask when you book

How to decide between two sizes

If you're between two sizes, sizing up is usually cheaper than paying for a second delivery and swap. Tell us the square footage, number of rooms, or scope of demo and we'll recommend a size based on similar past jobs — call or text to confirm what's available on your date.

Frequently asked questions

What is the biggest dumpster you offer?

Our largest is a 40-yard roll-off, suited to major demolition and large commercial cleanouts. Call to confirm availability on your date.

Is there a 25-yard dumpster?

No — our sizes are 10, 15, 20, 30, and 40 yard. If your job seems to land near 25 yards of volume, we'll help you round up or down.

Can I put concrete in a 20-yard dumpster?

No. Concrete, dirt, brick, and similar heavy material need to go in a dedicated 10-yard heavy-debris bin so the load stays within legal road weight.

What if I guess wrong on size?

Call us — depending on route availability we can often swap for a larger bin or arrange a second pickup.
